Sick of seeing my friends pay over the odds for shoddy scans from a certain high street chain, I decided to start Lola Film Lab. 

There are plenty of great independent businesses that provide similar services, and yes some of them are cheaper. I don’t (yet) have big expensive Japanese machines to save time and money, everything is developed by hand and with great care. 

I am extremely passionate about analogue photography, having picked it back up just over a year ago. In that time I have lost count of how many rolls I have developed myself, but I am now in a place where I want to be developing film for other people, as meticulously and efficiently as my own.
